AppLauncher is a software directory organised on three independent axes: 12 categories, 9 platforms and a curated tag vocabulary. Every listing records the things a buyer or an assistant actually needs to compare tools - the platforms it runs on, its pricing model and starting price, whether it has a free tier, whether it is open source and under which SPDX licence, its install command and package registry for command-line tools, its repository, its features and its use cases. Nothing is auto-published: an editor reviews every submission against a stated quality bar, and outbound links are nofollow until a listing earns dofollow through upvotes, a verified badge or an Editor's Pick. Link attributes are never sold.
